Browsing data

The site is hosted by Aruba S.p.A. in Italy. Like any web server, it records in its technical logs the IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type. These are used only to run and secure the site (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are kept by the provider only as long as strictly necessary.

Messages and requests

The form on the Contact page sends nothing to the website: it prepares an email in your own mail program, which you choose whether to send. What you write (name, email address, message) reaches info@matteobasile.com and is used only to reply and follow up on your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). It is kept for the duration of the correspondence and is not shared with third parties.

Cookies

The site uses no profiling, analytics or advertising cookies and no tracking tools: this is why you are not asked for consent when you open it.

Only one technical preference is kept in your browser, the light or dark wall chosen in the artwork viewer; you can delete it at any time from your browser settings. The private administration area uses a technical session cookie, only for those who log in.

Videos and external services

Films are hosted on Vimeo and load only when you press “Watch”, with the option that asks Vimeo not to track viewing. From that moment Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc.) receives your IP address and the technical data needed to show the video, under its own privacy policy.

On Android phones the augmented reality of the works opens in Google’s Scene Viewer, which receives your IP address and the address of the 3D model. Links to Instagram, Facebook, Vimeo, the Weezevent booking page and the ARTITUDE archive lead to external websites with their own privacy rules.

Your rights

You may at any time ask to access your data, correct or delete it, restrict its use, object to its processing or receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR) by writing to info@matteobasile.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
